Offering Help After a Suicide Death

We often have topics with invited speakers from the healthcare community.  

  Our survivor support meetings are like forums. A forum is a meeting of equals exchanging views. What we do at our meetings is share our struggles with grief after a suicide death and our coping suggestions that do work or do not work. We share our frustrations and questions. We share our victories over depression and grief. We offer support, encouragement and information through our shared experiences. We take this journey together as we help each other cope.  

   Meetings are peer support, not therapy sessions. They are free and you are invited to attend these open-ended meetings for as long as you need. Our meetings are scheduled in a variety of locations throughout Northern California. 

Friends for Survival offers several monthly meetings in Northern California  as follows:
Cameron Park,  second Tuesday
Carmichael,  third Tuesday
Chico,   second Monday
Elk Grove Area,  fourth Tuesday
Grass Valley/Auburn/ Lake of the Pines,  second Wednesday
Roseville/Rocklin,  third Thursday
Yuba City,  fourth Tuesday
